We use two Soloflex® units for very safe and smooth repetitions in the benchpress event. One long set for endurance at very low resistance (6 lbs bar for Flag, 15 lbs for JV, 20 lbs for Varsity, & 25 lbs for Middle School) will help each player have a baseline for improvement.
Although we have a spotter, the bar is designed to stop so the athlete is not holding the resistance in the lowest position.
